CATIE KLEIN
Founder of LeadBeyond
After being elected class co-president by her fellow students, Catie learned that leadership is a trial-and-error process, and she longed for a reference guide. There are few, if any, leadership classes or similar resources available for students assuming a leadership role; rather, those who find themselves in such a position are forced into on-the-job training. LeadBeyond's mission is to fill this void and create a place for teens to grow as leaders. Catie's leadership qualities are passion, empathy, and communication.

ELLA ROMICK
President of LeadBeyond
Ella, 15, has always been commended for supporting others in their growth. Camaraderie and her commitment to learning about leadership is what attracted her to LeadBeyond, and it is what propels her to encourage new peers to join the community. At the beginning of her eighth-grade year, Ella was invited to join the LeadBeyond team as the first middle school ambassador and has since grown into the Vice President. Ella believes that the desire to expand one's knowledge and self-awareness are important outcomes of these exciting and educational opportunities and community spaces.

CLAIRE SHIOUTAKON
Vice President of East Coast Affairs
Claire Shioutakon is a 17-year-old from Maryland who serves as the Vice President of East Coast Affairs for LeadBeyond. She was able to learn so much about leadership from a summer camp she went to for six years. Leadership is so very important to her and she is so excited to be participating in LeadBeyond. She loves to meet people from around the country at our different events.
